## What the chart shows

McKinsey’s survey scores organisations’ responsible AI maturity from 1 (foundational practices developed) to 4 (comprehensive practices fully operational). In 2025 the average rose in every region surveyed. Latin America gained most, from 1.8 to 2.2, followed by Asia-Pacific (2.2 to 2.5) and Europe (2.0 to 2.3).

North America moved from 2.1 to 2.2\. Every regional average sits between levels 2 and 3, so most organisations are still integrating responsible AI practices rather than running them fully.

- The report gives a global average of 2.3 in 2025, up from 2.0; the data file has regional averages only.
