What the chart shows
Public bodies in the United Kingdom awarded 738 AI-related contracts over 2013–2024, the most of the 29 European countries in the data, ahead of Germany’s 611. Together the two account for half of the 2,676 contracts.
Spain (187), Poland (162) and France (161) form a second group, and Romania (111) is the only other country above 100. At the other end, Malta had 2 and Luxembourg 3.
