AI Adoption is a blog and intelligence platform operated by ByAuto Pty Ltd, an Australian AI automation and consulting company based in Canberra. These standards govern every article published on this platform. They exist to make our editorial judgements transparent and our readers' trust well-founded.

Our editorial mission

AI Adoption exists to publish signal over noise — accurate, analytical, and actionable intelligence about artificial intelligence for practitioners, enterprise leaders, and government professionals in Australia and globally.

We are not a media company optimised for traffic. We are a consulting firm that publishes because the AI information landscape lacks the quality of analysis our clients and readers need to make good decisions. That commercial context is declared openly: consulting enquiries are the primary measure of this publication's success. We believe that transparency about our business model strengthens, rather than undermines, our editorial integrity.

Accuracy standards

Every factual claim published on AI Adoption must meet the following requirements:

All statistics, figures, and quantitative claims are attributed to a named source. Where a source cannot be named — for example, where a client has requested confidentiality — the claim is either omitted or the limitation is disclosed in the article.

Company and product names use official capitalisation and spelling at time of publication. Where official names change, articles are updated within five business days of the change becoming publicly confirmed.

Australian regulatory references — Privacy Act, IRAP, SOCI, CDR, ASD frameworks — use the official framework names and are checked against current government publications before use.

Dates reflect the current status of legislation, regulation, or policy. We do not describe instruments as "under consideration" if they have passed, nor as "passed" if they remain in consultation.

Where an error is identified after publication, a correction notice is appended to the article within 24 hours of confirmation, noting what was changed and when.

Editorial independence

AI Adoption accepts no advertising. No advertiser, vendor, or third party pays to appear in, influence, or be recommended by any article on this platform.

ByAuto provides AI automation consulting services. Occasionally, articles on this platform may reference tools, platforms, or vendors that ByAuto has worked with commercially. Where this is the case, the relationship is disclosed in the article.

No external investor holds equity in ByAuto Pty Ltd. Editorial decisions are made solely by ByAuto's editorial team without commercial interference.

Use of AI in content production

AI Adoption uses AI tools in its content production workflow. We disclose our use of AI because we believe transparency on this point is now a baseline standard for any credible publication.

AI is used in the following ways: research assistance and source discovery, first-draft generation for some article types, summarisation of lengthy source documents, and editorial workflow automation.

AI is not the final author of any article published on this platform. Every article is reviewed, edited, and approved by a human editor before publication. The editorial voice, analytical judgements, and factual verification are human responsibilities that AI tools do not replace.

We believe that undisclosed AI content generation is an editorial integrity failure. Our position: the question is not whether AI is used, but whether the humans responsible for the publication stand behind every word published under their name. We do.

Source standards

AI Adoption prioritises primary sources: official government publications, company announcements, peer-reviewed research, regulatory instruments, and direct statements from named individuals. Secondary sources — aggregators, wire services, other publications — are used only where primary sources are unavailable or where the secondary source's own reporting adds analytical value.

We do not publish claims sourced exclusively from anonymous sources, press releases without independent verification, or social media posts without corroboration.

Where an article is based substantially on a single external report or study, that source is linked directly. We do not paraphrase sources in ways that distort their meaning or omit material caveats present in the original.

Opinion and analysis

AI Adoption publishes analysis and opinion. We take positions. We believe that false balance — presenting all sides as equally valid when evidence is not equally distributed — is itself an editorial failure.

Opinion and analysis are clearly distinguished from news reporting by editorial format. Articles in the AI Analysis and ByAuto Insights formats carry the author's analytical judgement and are labelled accordingly. Articles in the AI News format report factual developments and reserve interpretation for clearly marked editorial sections.

Australian English and style

All content is published in Australian English. Spelling, terminology, and regulatory references follow Australian conventions. Date format is day month year — 25 March 2026.

Our style guide is maintained internally and governs headline construction, number formatting, capitalisation of AI terminology, and the use of jargon. The governing principle: write for a reader who is intelligent and busy, not for a reader who needs to be impressed.
