About AI Adoption
Who publishes AI Adoption, why it exists and how it is paid for.
AI Adoption is published by ByAuto, an Australian AI automation and consulting company, founded and led by Jaspreet (Jassie), an AI and technology entrepreneur based in Canberra.
What AI Adoption is
AI Adoption is ByAuto’s AI statistics site: 316 charts on how capable AI has become, who invests in it and uses it, how it affects work and society, and how it is governed. Each chart states one finding, names its source and links to its data as a CSV file. The charts are grouped into 13 topic hubs under four themes, next to trackers for 10 AI companies.
It exists because the AI information landscape is saturated with noise: vendor marketing dressed as analysis, and commentary without numbers or context. We publish the numbers, where they come from and what they do and do not show. How we do that is set out in our Editorial Standards, and every source is listed on our Data Sources page.
Every Friday, The week in AI numbers brings the charts we added or updated that week to your inbox.
What ByAuto does
ByAuto specialises in practical AI adoption — not strategy decks, not vendor recommendations, but working systems deployed inside real organisations. The team designs agentic workflows, builds AI automation pipelines, and advises leadership teams on how to govern, procure, and scale AI responsibly within the Australian regulatory environment.
ByAuto works with enterprise organisations and government agencies across Australia. Its consulting practice is grounded in the pressures of the Australian market: Privacy Act obligations, IRAP and SOCI compliance requirements, data sovereignty concerns, and the growing expectation from government and enterprise that AI deployments be both effective and accountable.
The companion platform, Academy ByAuto, translates this work into structured learning. Where AI Adoption shows what is happening, Academy teaches practitioners how to respond.
Women-led. Australian-owned. Independently operated.
ByAuto is independently owned and operated, with no external investors and no advertising revenue. Jassie built the company with a clear conviction: that Australian organisations — particularly in government and regulated industries — deserve access to AI expertise that understands their operating environment, not just the global headlines.
The editorial independence of AI Adoption flows directly from that ownership structure. There are no advertisers to placate, no platform dependencies to protect, and no conflicting interests to manage. The site’s only obligation is to its readers.
