What was wrongThe source line dated the Ferracane, González and Rogaler Wilson dataset 2026, following the AI Index chart footer.
What it says nowIt now says 2025, the year the European University Institute issued the dataset. The dataset was posted online in January 2026, which explains the AI Index footer; the AI Index text itself cites 2025.
The chart numbers did not change.

How corrections work

1
You tell us
Email [email protected] with the page and what looks wrong. Our own checks against the sources find some too.
2
We check the source
We go back to the original data or document, not to a copy of it, and decide whether the page is wrong.
3
We fix and record it
We correct the page, note the change on it where the numbers or meaning changed, and add an entry to this log.
We log
  • Wrong numbers or units
  • Wrong or missing source credits
  • Wrong dates or periods
  • Claims the data does not support
  • Chart errors: wrong series, axis or labels
We fix without logging
  • Typos and spelling
  • Wording changes that keep the meaning
  • Broken links and layout fixes
  • Routine data updates, which the chart page dates
