2.2
Latin America's average responsible AI maturity score in 2025, up from 1.8 in 2024, the largest gain of four regions

What the chart shows

McKinsey’s survey scores organisations’ responsible AI maturity from 1 (foundational practices developed) to 4 (comprehensive practices fully operational). In 2025 the average rose in every region surveyed. Latin America gained most, from 1.8 to 2.2, followed by Asia-Pacific (2.2 to 2.5) and Europe (2.0 to 2.3).

North America moved from 2.1 to 2.2. Every regional average sits between levels 2 and 3, so most organisations are still integrating responsible AI practices rather than running them fully.
