How to read it
- Ratio of a group’s share of CS enrolment to its share of all public high school students; 1 means proportional. Years are the 2023–24 and 2024–25 school years.
- An IEP (individualised education programme) provides special education services; a 504 plan provides accommodations under US disability law.
- Not all states report these groups, so the AI Index advises caution.
