How to read it
- Foundational computer science courses as counted by Code.org, in US public high schools only.
- The AI Index uses computer science as a stand-in because there is little standardised data on AI courses in US schools.
- The 2022–23 value is stored as 57.99999999999999 in the file, a rounding artefact; we show 58%.
