What the chart shows
Agentic AI went from a rare skill in US AI job postings to the most listed AI agent skill: 16,541 postings in 2025, about 110 times the 151 of 2024. AI agents followed with 15,217 postings, 11.6 times its 2024 count.
ChatGPT, the most listed skill in this group in 2024 with 5,535 postings, rose 2.6 times to 14,376 but fell to third. Tools for building agents also grew: LangGraph from 194 to 4,294 postings and Microsoft Copilot Studio from 549 to 3,366.
